Cognitive Training
“Everyone – regardless of age, etiology or disability – has immeasurable ability to enhance their learning aptitude and heighten their intelligence.”
– Dr. Reuven Feuerstein

How Does it Work?
Students learn through interactive games and activities
Dr. Brown (2018) explains that the cognitive development curriculum is a “progressive system of physical, visual, auditory, vestibular, and cognitive exercises meant to strengthen existing neural connections and, more importantly, to create missing neural pathways which may inhibit one’s ability to learn.”
Learners will participate in interactive games and activities that build upon each other and increase in difficulty over the course of the program.
Based on Dr. Reuven Feuerstein’s Mediated Learning Experience, a trained mediator works with the learner and encourages them to verbalize what they are experiencing and their thought process throughout, thereby allowing the mediator to select, expand, and interpret the learning process for that student.
Our coaches are able to find the specific areas the student is struggling in, and tailor the sessions to help strengthen those key areas for the student.

Backed by research
“What makes this program different from others is that Carol has the research and the data to back up its effectiveness. The research on the association between working memory and academic achievement makes this program an ideal choice for sharpening a student’s academic skill. As a father, uncle, teacher, and educational researcher, I would recommend this program to any parent seeking to build the learning capacity of their child’s brain.”
– Dr. John Almarode, Professor of Education, James Madison University
